Yup. Just like what title says, I am feeling oh so loved by my Glenn. And its not just because its the month of love and all that cheesy mushy stuff. He is just the sweetest and loving person. He always says that he never thought of himself as the romantic kind of guy. But since day 1 of our love story, he's always been my prince charming. <3
Last Saturday, we weren't able to spend that much time together because he had some things to attend to in the morning and I had dinner with girlfriends in the evening. We just had the afternoon to spend time with each other and it just wasn't enough.
After my night out with the girls, he picked us up from the subway and headed home. Even though we were together on the way home, I still can't help but miss him. We spent a couple hours on the phone before going to bed and telling each other how our dinner went. I was with my girlfriends and he was with his family and relatives. It's kind of difficult to spend our Saturdays apart because we got used to the fact that Friday and Saturday are "our" days.
It was such a surprise when he called me on Sunday morning and said that he was coming over to hear mass and spend the whole day with me. I always ask the question "why" even though I really know why he wants to spend the day with me. <3 Oh well, I just love listening to him when he says that he misses me too much...
We heard mass and then headed to Spring Rolls to have dinner. We finally used the gift card which was gifted to him last Christmas. :-) I really love that we have more time for just the two of us and actually get to have conversations about the serious stuff that we can't really talk about when we're with our friends and family. Yes, its all about the mushy stuff. <3
After our dinner date, we headed to the car wash to give Spidey (his car) a bath. There wasn't any cheap ones nearby and so we just tried the touchless car wash for the first time. And probably the last time because it costs a whopping $14. haha. It was too much. The last time we washed his car, we only spent $2 and actually enjoyed doing it ourselves. It's not really a hassle unless of course its freezing outside. But other than that, we don't mind washing the car ourselves. :-) We had fun. It was really exciting to watch the car being washed while we were inside. :-)
After that, we headed home and just hung out for a little bit. I didn't want him to stay up too late because we both have work in the morning. And so, even if we still wanted to spend more time together, we had to say our goodbyes.
Oh well. I feel so lucky to have him as my other half. <3 There is nothing more that I can ask from him. The way that he expresses his love for me is just something that I will forever cherish and be thankful for. <3
Have a lovely evening! :-)
xoxo
Ida
